This is a recorded group coaching program that was held in April – June.It was for those who are enrolled in Tidy Tutor University in the April semester, and current members of TTi. The purpose of this group coaching is to have a determined plan of action to take, like your going to night school. You’ve got live classmates, you’ve got an instructor. The normal tendency to put off getting started will be eliminated (or at least harder to ignore).  When we know we are showing up and exected to have work done, we get it done.  While this is no longer live it is still super valuable and you can take each week one week at a time in conjunction with TTU if you like.

progress report. with this coaching I have completed all of TTU including the binder, I had only taken through Session 3 before and figured I could use my previous 3x5s – wrong. 2 big things I have received from it, first is that I am practicing, if I am honestly doing what I can do, I need to give my self some slack. Second, to just ‘do’ in the zone I am in for that week, I KNOW I will get to the other room I am trying to distract myself with, next week; i.e., thinking I should do something in the office today instead of the kitchen; in the midst of that thought came ‘the office is zone 3 and I will be there next week’, got me right back on track. You asked about family participation, my husband does the slipshod cleaning and any heavy work. An agreement we came to several years ago. He also does most of the shopping and some meal prep. Thank you!

Kathy, I know you are in Ireland and I hope you are having a wonderful time!! This is for when you are back home. I have put my binder together. It’s very exciting!! One thing, however, I don’t seem to have a page called “crisis cleaning?” Did I overlook that somewhere in past lessons?

    No, that freaking page has been a thorn in my side. For some reason every time I post the new version (the one you have is missing) it doesn’t show up!

    I just wrote mine in on the back of a page right before the cleaning pages, I figured that was a good place to put it. I found it somewhere but I can’t remember where. It was prob a power point slide on one of the lessons and I just paused it and copied! I hope this helps.

Kathy yes I have my binder together, did it a while back, but I still don’t have the dates or addresses filled in. I need to do that on my desk day which I’m not officially doing😏 I just gonin and pay my bills and do my checkbook when the bills come in. The daily zone thing I don’t have down yet. I set it but I don’t do it , I need to plug a time in for work days and then if I don’t work yay, but I’ve been working full time. I don’t have it figured out yet.

Lisa I’m the same as u used to always procrastinate getting the shower bc I want to dive into things first. Like u I now most of the time get my shower at night, u less it is going to make me late for bed. Then my punishment lol is that I have to get up earlier to accommodate the shower… I figured out I’d rather make sure I get it early enough at night and it’s a great feeling being able to just get dressed inthe am!

This coaching has brought me clarity on understanding the practicing of routines. I would start a routine and not get everything on it done, this would go on for a few days or a week and I would get frustrated and give up counting it as failure and me just never being able to do it ‘right’. Well somewhere in the coaching I heard you say we are not going to do it all at once but we keep going and that is practicing, You said to be aware of what I don’t get to each day, if it is something different each time to just keep going and it will fall into place. If I miss the same thing everyday that needed to be looked at and figure where it would fit. For me the struggle has always been the shower and dress 1st thing. It rarely got done because the shower trips me up, so this time I decided to just do the get dressed part and figure out the shower as I went. Well not too many days in it occurred to me ‘why not take my shower in the evening’. Woohoo, that is working and my morning routine is now being truly practiced. It’s a big deal!! Thank you.

Kathy, part 2 is a repeat of part 1. I hope it can be fixed bc I keep having to work and I miss the live coaching so I am dependent on these recordings but they are helping me walk thru the course faithfully. I feel things turning around since I’m getting up on time every day. Thank u!!!

    I have replied to this on our FB group. I love that things are turning around with the implementation of getting up on time. It is crazy how it adds to our lives BUT it doesn’t take anything away, but we think it does! And thanks again for letting me know that I had the same link on week 2 as week 1! 🙂

    Yes, the homework for next week is take session 3, do your best to practice it (we will do session 3 for 2 weeks so you will have plenty of time to take it and practice it) Come prepared next week with questions from session 3. And also take note of the negative things you say about your self and find the contradictions. We need to re-define our identities. And we do that via programing. Suggestion is to get the Calm app on your phone and do one of their free meditations (I do the open ended meditation) Start with one minute if you aren’t use to meditating)

I started TTU last summer. I have rewatched the sessions two or three times. This coaching is making a difference for me. I watched & listened to Coaching Week 2 today. Listened to TTU Session 1 as planned last week and practiced all week. Later today I will listen to TTU Session 2. Getting up earlier has gotten easier each day. I have been able to get to work on time without any missing shoe or keys drama. Laundry has not been an issue for me, but it is done daily, except Sunday. As I have been doing my routines, I am finding that what room was dejunked last July & August before my move can use another dejunking session. Things that I wanted to keep back then, are easier to let go of because they just don’t fit my life anymore. My 3 item star chart has helped keep me on track, no Xs so far! Today is day 6. Looking forward to continuing!

And what you found regarding the dejunking in the are that was dejunked last July and August is of course the case. OGP dejunk on a regular basis. We need to do this every time we are in the particular zone we are in. Fabulous!!! and See you on the next call.

Hi TTU family,

I just started this 9 week strategy course last week.

I am currently catching up on the videos so I can join the live session tomorrow.

I had allready started with session one in january and have had a good run until I wasn’t able to stay on TTU for monetary reasons. I was lucky enough to be able to join again but I had a hard time starting again. Now that I have started again I feel better allready. More relaxed and more organized.

Really great! Getting out of bed is something my brain does not want to do; I feel like I can literally feel synapses dying every time I get up. I have been faithful with this since “starting”
TTU this past week. I realize I did not post my short term and long term goals. I will put them on my mirror and fridge, maybe the coffee pot…Feel free to ask me if I did this. I would love the accountability.
