The Packrat,The Women & The Wardrobe: My Closet, My Wardrobe

We are on number 5 in the video series focusing on wardrobes…

I want to mention this quickly…

The world pressures us into thinking that we MUST HAVE “this” and “that” for each season, but I think for us, that is not working anymore, we want to push against all of that consumption code mentality.

We want to carve out a different template, a different list of must haves, one that doesn’t make us go into debt to keep up with the Jonese’s, one that keeps life simple and helps us to be more authentic to who we are.

I am definitely going to dive into more of that in the future, but… for today we are going to continue to look into real people’s closets, and this week the featured closet is MINE.

You may be surprised at what you see. While I am neat, and to some would be considered a minimalist, I am not very particular about how things are hung up, the uniformity of my hangers and being up with the latest trends. I keep odd things in my drawers along side my clothes, and they are a FAR CRY from Marie Kondo’s.

Let me know what you  think, and what you’ve got going on in your wardrobe.

I can’t wait to hear from you!

Great takeaways: there is no right or wrong regarding what my standard should be. I can keep things simply because I like them–whether I use them often or not. If it doesn’t bother me, don’t sweat it. Ha! I loved the TTU commercial song!!! Thanks!
